What is infrared photography?

Imagine if we could see colors beyond what our eyes normally show us. That's where infrared comes in. Think of it like finding secret shades in a rainbow. It's light that our eyes can't see, but special cameras can. Everything including plants, animals, and cities give off this hidden light. It exists just outside the range of colors our eyes can perceive, as part of the electromagnetic spectrum. My art uses infrared photography to capture these hidden wavelengths, transforming them into visible images. I create vibrant compositions that showcase the otherwise hidden energy that objects radiate. This applies to large scale images of the earth as well.

Who am I?

I am Chad Lopez a visual creator that became fascinated by infrared art because of its surreal and beautiful qualities. I love the unconventional colors that come from the images and how well they fit together. I love it because it is a creative mix of science and art.
